I happened to visit Hoffman Hills when the frogs were mating. It was really loud.

Walking through the Hoffman Hills Wetlands we found that most of the Pussy Willows were past peak.

A pair of Canada Geese have started nesting on one of the ponds.

The frogs are out in great numbers and making a lot of noise.

It was a bitterly cold morning in Canal Park as I waited for a ship to come into port. The fog was so dense that I couldn’t see how far out the ship was so I spend some time capturing scenes from around the park. There was only one other photographer braving the cold weather.

I was wandering around the Canal Park early on Monday morning when a fog bank that had been out in the lake moved into the harbor area. These are some of the photos from the event.
