There are usually quite a few ducks spending the winter in Hudson, Wisconsin. When I go over to photograph the swans I usually get a few duck pictures.

A walk through the wetlands area turned up quite a few things to photograph. One of my favorite subjects in the spring is backlit leaves.

There were a variety of birds in and around the ponds. This year the Canada Geese only had three goslings.

Pond Reflections are always a good choice.

We spent our morning chasing an ice breaker. By the time we finished with the ice breaker it was time for lunch. We decided it was too warm to go cross country skiing, it was pushing +30 so we decided to go for a walk instead. We ended up in Canal Park watching the ducks floating on the ice in the ship canal.
